This Privacy Policy explains how Solerta, LLC ("Solerta," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use ReelCost and related services.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication provider identifiers, and account or subscription status.
- Production content: project names, budgets, cost entries, schedules, personnel records, scene breakdowns, scripts, treatments, notes, exports, and other content you choose to provide.
- Activity and support information: audit events, unlock and account actions, support messages, and information you provide when requesting assistance.
- Technical information: device, browser, IP address, timestamps, diagnostics, and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; save, synchronize, analyze, and export production data; provide AI-assisted features requested by users; deliver security and account messages; process and verify entitlements; prevent fraud and misuse; provide support; understand product usage; and improve ReelCost. If you separately opt in, we may also send occasional ReelCost product updates and practical filmmaking workflow tips.
Service providers and sharing
We disclose information only as needed to operate ReelCost, comply with law, protect users, or complete a transaction. Providers may include Supabase for authentication and data storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email, Apple, Google, and Meta for optional sign-in, app stores and payment processors for purchases, and AI infrastructure providers when you request an AI feature. We do not sell personal information or use production content for third-party advertising.
AI-assisted features
When you request a script breakdown, treatment, cost analysis, Buddy answer, or similar AI feature, the content required for that request may be sent to an AI service provider. Buddy conversations are sent with a bounded recent budget snapshot; The Contractor has no access to private accounts. ReelCost does not retain agent chat transcripts in its database, but it records limited operational information such as agent type, token usage, estimated cost, success or failure, and optional helpful/not-helpful feedback. Website chat history is kept in the visitor's current browser session and can be cleared from the chat. Do not upload confidential material unless you have authority to process it. AI results may be incomplete or inaccurate and require independent research and professional review.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and production information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion at our account deletion page. We may retain limited billing, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or legal records when required, and deletion from encrypted backups may occur on a delayed cycle.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your credentials and devices.
Your choices and rights
You may access or correct production information in ReelCost, choose whether to use social login and AI features, and request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. Marketing messages are optional and separate from account and security messages; you can unsubscribe at any time. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Children
ReelCost is a professional production tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
